About Us

Music and movement have always been the greatest outlet in Mandy’s life. She began performing at age five with a local dance studio and over the next thirteen years would learn the art of listening, following and then leading in the dance community.

Her repertoire later included teaching and choreographing for color guards, dance teams, and drama classes at various schools and colleges, which received all-superior ratings.

Her primary involvement in the world of dance was through XDC where Mandy instructed and choreographed for eighteen years. While at XDC, she worked with different levels of company groups that competed and scored at the highest level. She also won multiple awards with her pieces, including judges’ choice and special choreography awards, which she treasures. 

Her most fulfilling work though, was teaching her weekly/yearly classes where she watched each child’s growth and poured into their hearts. Mandy left XDC to start a new jouney, Amplify Joy Studio, where she is focusing on implementing gratitude, creativity, growth and integrity within different communities while teaching the art of dance.

Mandy is loved and supported by her husband and her four beautiful children and accredits everything in her life to God!

She looks forward to the future and countless years of partnering with students to awaken their artistic gifts!
